As we enter Spring, we are honoured to share something very special with our community.

Through Imaginative Reaction, we are gifting 10 families (four tickets each) the opportunity to spend a day at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, a place where history, science, art and nature meet in the most extraordinary way.

🌺 The History & Heritage of Kew

Founded in the 18th century, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew has grown from a royal garden into one of the most important botanical institutions in the world. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to over 50,000 living plants.

From the iconic Palm House, a soaring Victorian glasshouse filled with tropical species, to the delicate Orchid Festival displays, Kew has long been a place of curiosity and discovery.

For centuries, artists, scientists, illustrators and horticulturalists have walked its pathways. Botanical illustration itself flourished alongside Kew’s research, with artists carefully documenting plants in remarkable detail, proving that art and science have always grown side by side.

🌿 Why Nature Matters For Creativity

At Imaginative Reaction, we believe creativity does not only happen in studios or classrooms.

Why Kew?

From towering palms inside the iconic glasshouses to peaceful lakes, blossom-lined pathways and rare botanical collections, Kew offers endless inspiration for young imaginations and creative minds.

Nature has always been one of the most powerful starting points for artistic expression.

The colours, textures and intricate details found in plants and flowers invite curiosity. They encourage us to look more closely. For children especially, this kind of immersive experience nurtures observation skills, patience and creative confidence. We want this to feel relaxed and inclusive. A day where families can explore at their own pace.

Creativity Beyond the Classroom

At the heart of what we do is the belief that creativity thrives outside of pressure. When children are given space to observe, interpret and respond freely, something wonderful happens, confidence grows.
